Cashspace – Non-Bank Loan Comparison Site Review
Cashspace is not a lender but a comparison site and intermediary for non-bank loans. The site states outright: "This website is not a financial institution, bank or lender", and it matches customers with partner lenders. The site is operated by the Estonian company Fininity OÜ, and according to the site footer the intermediary business in Poland is run by Fininity Poland Sp. z o.o. (credit intermediary licence no. RPK048626 as given on the site). You always sign the loan agreement with the specific lender you pick from the list, not with Cashspace. Loans of this type make sense as a solution for a temporary shortage of funds, repaid over a relatively short time, not as a substitute for a bank loan intended for larger, long-term goals.
APR and cost of the loan
The site states that the maximum APR is 36%, and that rates vary by lender, circumstances and credit history. This is not the APR of one specific loan: you will only see the binding APR in the standard information form of the lender whose offer you choose, and it is that figure, rather than the interest rate alone, that is worth comparing between offers. The calculator on the site lets you choose an amount from PLN 100 to PLN 10,000, while the FAQ says personal loans most often range from PLN 100 to PLN 5,000.
The site gives a cost example: for a loan of PLN 2,000 over 3 months, the commission is PLN 18, the interest rate is 3.65% per year, and the total amount to be repaid is PLN 2,018. The example gives neither an APR nor the name of a lender. It's worth remembering that this is an example calculation under specific assumptions (a specific amount and period) – the actual cost with the lender you choose, and for a different combination of amount and repayment period, will be different, so before signing the agreement it's worth checking the calculation for the variant you choose yourself.
Terms and requirements
According to the information visible on the site, loan repayment periods fall within the range of 3 to 12 months. Submitting an application requires an ID card and the applicant's PESEL number – the website does not explicitly state other formal requirements (e.g. minimum age). The site says its services are free of charge.
The site states that loans are "approved even if you have a bad credit history". However, this is a marketing statement, not an official, unambiguous confirmation that verification in debtor databases is skipped – the decision is made by the lender, and this slogan should not be treated as a guarantee that credit history will not be checked in any way.
The website does not provide detailed rules for a possible extension (rollover) of the loan or the terms of early repayment. This information needs to be checked directly in the chosen lender's agreement before signing it – its absence on the comparison site does not mean such rules don't exist, only that they aren't highlighted there.
How to apply
According to the site, the application process involves several steps:
- Fill in the application form online
- Check the list of available offers
- Choose the offer most favorable to you
- Wait for approval by the lender
Summary
Cashspace is a non-bank loan comparison site that declares a maximum APR of 36%, amounts from PLN 100 to PLN 10,000 in its calculator and repayment periods of 3 to 12 months. Before submitting an application, check the chosen lender's APR and its agreement for the rules on any possible extension of repayment and the costs of early repayment – the Cashspace site does not explicitly state this information. Only the APR in a specific lender's information form is the figure worth comparing with other short-term loan offers before making your final decision.
