Bank Pekao S.A. (Bank Polska Kasa Opieki) has operated since 1929 and is a universal commercial bank, the second largest in Poland. It offers personal and business accounts, loans, mortgages, deposits and investment services. Since 2017 it has been part of the PZU group, and its largest shareholders are PZU (20%) and the Polish Development Fund PFR (12.8%). At the end of June 2026 the bank had 557 outlets (468 of them its own) and 1,396 own ATMs, and 3.84 million people actively used its mobile banking.
