Our review

Adam Ostrowski · Updated: 15 October 2026

In short: Finbo offers 30-day loans, and the APRC in the representative example is 297.57%. A first loan can cost PLN 0, but only if you borrow at least PLN 7,000 and repay it all on time. If you need a smaller amount, you pay standard costs.

Who is behind Finbo

The finbo.pl service is run by Fincapital sp. z o.o. (KRS 0000653383), which according to the website acts as an intermediary between the customer and a lending institution. The lender is PrimaStar sp. z o.o. of Warsaw (KRS 0000655110), and your agreement is with that company.

It is a short-term 30-day cash loan. It suits a single expense you can cover from your next pay, not longer-term financing.

APRC and loan cost

Representative example from Finbo's website (standard terms):

  • a PLN 4,000 loan for 30 days, variable interest rate 14.5%, APRC 297.57%,
  • total cost PLN 480.50: a fee of PLN 432.83 and interest of PLN 47.67,
  • total to repay PLN 4,480.50.

On top of that there is a one-off registration fee of PLN 0.01. You transfer it from your own account, and the details in the transfer must match those in your application.

The calculator lets you pick from PLN 500 to PLN 20,000, but you can apply for more than PLN 7,000 only after logging in. The maximum first loan is PLN 7,000.

First loan at PLN 0: full conditions

The "Pierwsza Promocyjna Pożyczka" (First Promotional Loan) rules (from 06.02.2025 until withdrawn) give a 100% discount on the fee and interest if all of the following apply:

  • you have not had a loan from this lender before,
  • you apply for at least PLN 7,000,
  • the lender grants and pays out at least PLN 7,000 in the first payout,
  • you repay the whole amount paid out no later than the due date.

A first loan can be at most PLN 7,000, so in practice the promotion covers one amount: PLN 7,000. If you apply for less and later draw additional funds up to PLN 7,000 or more, the promotion does not apply.

Our calculation

In the standard example every PLN 100 borrowed costs PLN 12.01 for 30 days (PLN 480.50 / PLN 4,000 × 100).

Being late with the promotional loan is expensive. According to Finbo's example, if PLN 7,000 is not repaid on time you pay PLN 840.90 in costs (a fee of PLN 757.48 and interest of PLN 83.42, APRC 297.58%), i.e. PLN 7,840.90 in total. The rules also allow late-payment interest on top.

Compared with the market

Among the 34 non-bank loans in our comparison (as of 15.10.2026), Finbo's 297.57% APRC ranks 24th, counting from the lowest APRC. The median is 176.61%, and the lowest APRC belongs to Smartney (Pożyczka online na raty, 17.11%). This compares offers listed on BankSorter, not the whole market. Representative examples from different lenders may use different amounts and terms.

Terms and requirements

  • Age from 18 to 78.
  • Your own mobile phone number, a personal bank account and a valid ID card.
  • Polish citizenship, residence in Poland and full legal capacity.
  • You can have only one active Finbo loan. You can apply for the next one after repaying the previous one.
  • According to Finbo, a loan at another institution does not rule out your application if you have no repayment delays.
  • You can repay the loan early. You repay by bank transfer to Fincapital's account.

We did not find rules for extending the repayment date on Finbo's home page or in its Q&A.

How to apply

  1. Choose the amount and fill in the application on finbo.pl.
  2. Transfer the PLN 0.01 registration fee from your own account, with the transfer title Finbo specifies.
  3. Wait for the decision: you get it by text message or e-mail, and in your Customer Profile.

According to Finbo, the decision time depends on when the registration fee arrives. After the decision the money can arrive "even within 15 minutes", and if your account is with a bank outside Finbo's list the transfer may take one business day.

Not for you if...

  • you need less than PLN 7,000 and are counting on a free loan,
  • you cannot repay the whole amount within 30 days,
  • you have repayment delays at other institutions,
  • you are older than 78.

Watch out for

  • Only a first loan of PLN 7,000 is free. A smaller amount means costs from the standard terms.
  • Being late cancels the promotion: you repay the full amount with the fee and interest.
  • For late payment the lender may charge maximum late-payment interest, and long-term non-payment may lead to your data being passed to credit information bureaus (BIG).
  • You may also be charged the costs of recovery through court and enforcement proceedings.

Summary

Finbo pays off in one scenario: a first loan of exactly PLN 7,000 that you are sure to repay within 30 days. Otherwise you pay according to the representative example with an APRC of 297.57%, well above the median of our comparison (176.61%). If you need less, compare cheaper offers first.
