Kuki.pl loan review – fast non-bank cash loan
Kuki.pl is an online non-bank loan (a so-called "payday loan") aimed at people who need quick access to a small amount of cash for a short period — without visiting a branch and without a long wait for a credit decision. It's a product for an urgent, short-term financial need, not a substitute for a bank loan or a longer-term instalment loan.
APR and the cost of the loan
The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for a standard, non-promotional Kuki.pl loan is 297.58%. The lender's offer page shows a concrete example: a PLN 4,000 loan for 30 days carries an APR of 297.57%, a total loan cost of PLN 480.50, with a total repayment amount of PLN 4,480.50.
Kuki.pl also advertises a special offer for new customers: a first loan of up to PLN 7,000, repaid within the fixed 30-day term, can cost PLN 0 (0.00% APR) — you repay exactly what you borrowed. The condition is strict, though: if repayment is late, the same amount (PLN 7,000 for 30 days) carries an APR of 297.58% and a total cost of PLN 840.90, for a total repayment of PLN 7,840.90. In other words, the "free first loan" is only real if you repay exactly on time — miss the deadline and the cost jumps to the same level as the standard offer.
Loan amount and term
The standard repayment term for Kuki.pl loans is 30 days. Loan amounts start from PLN 500. New customers can borrow a maximum of PLN 7,000 — this is the limit that applies to the "first loan for PLN 0" promotion. Returning customers who log into their account have access to higher amounts, up to PLN 20,000.
Editorial note: our database previously listed this product's maximum loan amount incorrectly as PLN 500 — after verifying it against the lender's live offer page, it turned out PLN 500 is actually the lower bound of the amount, not the upper one. We've corrected this in our data.
Terms and requirements
The lender's page does not explicitly state a minimum borrower age or explain whether BIK/BIG/KRD credit databases are checked — we also found no information there about the rules for extending (rolling over) the repayment deadline or the specific conditions for early repayment. What is clearly stated is the consequence of a late payment: the lender may charge maximum statutory interest, capped by law at twice the sum of the NBP reference rate and 5.5 percentage points per year. This is a statutory limit that applies to all lenders in Poland, not a distinctive feature of the Kuki.pl offer.
Summary
Kuki.pl is a typical non-bank payday loan with a very high APR of 297.58% outside the promotional period — a cost you need to keep in mind before taking this loan. The offer's biggest strength is the "first loan for PLN 0" promotion for amounts up to PLN 7,000, but it only works if you repay within 30 days — being late means paying the same cost as the standard offer. Returning customers have access to higher amounts, up to PLN 20,000. Before applying, make sure you can repay the full borrowed amount within 30 days — with an APR of almost 300%, the repayment deadline is the key factor determining the real cost of this loan.
