BIZnest Konto from Nest Bank – Review

BIZnest Konto is Nest Bank's business account, aimed at sole traders and small businesses looking for an account with no fees for maintenance and transfers, while also wanting to take advantage of a welcome bonus. The offer is especially worth attention for businesses that regularly operate in euros — the bonus structure is directly tied to EUR currency activity, not merely to having the account. Below we examine exactly how much it really costs to maintain this account, how difficult it is to earn the advertised bonus, and who this offer makes the most sense for.

Fees and Charges

According to the product data, the fee for maintaining BIZnest Konto is PLN 0 — the bank does not stipulate any additional conditions that must be met to benefit from it (e.g. minimum monthly inflows or a number of card transactions). This is a significant difference compared with many business accounts on the market, where the zero fee is conditional. Similarly, external transfers from the account are free (PLN 0) — the product data shows no amount or quantity limit on this free service.

Information from the offer's landing page on the bank's website adds detail to this picture: Elixir transfers, including to ZUS (social insurance) and the Tax Office, are free with no limit, and the first 5 instant transfers per month are free provided there is an inflow to the account of at least PLN 5,000 and ZUS/tax payments are made from this account. This is a detail that the product database itself does not capture, but which genuinely affects the cost of using the account for a larger number of express transfers — a business with lower monthly inflows may not be able to fully take advantage of the free instant transfers.

A VISA card for BIZnest Konto (a business card) is included with the account. The card itself is free — there is no fixed fee for holding or issuing it. Cash withdrawals at Euronet network ATMs in Poland are completely free, which matters in practice since Euronet is one of the densest ATM networks in the country. At other domestic ATMs outside this network, the bank charges PLN 6 per withdrawal. Abroad, every card withdrawal costs PLN 5, regardless of the amount withdrawn — worth factoring in when planning business trips or settlements with foreign counterparties paid in cash.

Bonus and Additional Features

Nest Bank advertises BIZnest Konto with a bonus of up to PLN 3,000, but it's worth breaking this amount down into its components, because it is not a one-off, easily earned bonus in the style of "open the account and pay by card a few times." The bonus consists of two separate elements, based on a completely different mechanism than typical card-activity bonuses: up to PLN 1,000 can be earned for buying and/or selling euros, and up to PLN 2,000 for maintaining an average balance in euro currency accounts. This means the full amount of PLN 3,000 is achievable only for businesses that actually conduct activity in euros — currency exchange and holding funds in a currency account — not for anyone who simply opens an account and pays by card for everyday purchases. For a business with no euro turnover, the realistically available portion of the bonus may be significantly lower than the headline PLN 3,000, and in an extreme case, close to zero. The bank describes the detailed conditions in the Promotion Terms, and the offer's landing page additionally indicates that the promotion runs from April 17 to November 30, 2026, and is available exclusively to new business customers of the bank, which excludes existing Nest Bank account holders.

Beyond the bonus, the account offers several practical features for business owners: a mobile app for day-to-day management of company finances, Google Pay and Apple Pay payments, access to an online currency exchange (Nest Kantor, which according to the bank's communication allows commission-free currency exchange — a significant addition to the offer for businesses settling in euros), and online accounting. The card itself supports online payments, contactless payments, and offers cashback, allowing you to recover part of your spending on everyday business payments.

Who Is It For

BIZnest Konto will work best for sole proprietorships and small businesses that don't want to pay just for maintaining the account and making domestic transfers, and which additionally settle in euros — exports, imports, cooperation with foreign counterparties, freelancing invoiced in foreign currency, or simply regular currency exchange via the online kantor. This is precisely the group that can achieve the full PLN 3,000 bonus and make the fullest use of the commission-free exchange feature. For businesses operating exclusively in złoty, with no euro operations at all, the account still makes sense due to the lack of maintenance and external transfer fees and the free card, but the bonus itself will in practice be much harder or impossible to use in full — worth keeping in mind, and not treating the headline amount as a guaranteed bonus just for opening the account.

Pros and Cons

The key advantages are no account maintenance fee with no additional conditions, free external transfers, a free business card, and free withdrawals at the dense Euronet ATM network. The downsides include a PLN 6 fee for cash withdrawals outside the Euronet network in Poland, a PLN 5 fee for every withdrawal abroad, and a bonus structure where the full PLN 3,000 is realistically available only to businesses active in euros, not to the average new customer.

Summary

BIZnest Konto is a solid proposition for businesses looking for a free account with free transfers and a fee-free card, and the bonus of up to PLN 3,000 is an additional incentive — provided the business actually conducts euro settlements through buying/selling currency or maintaining a balance in a currency account. For businesses without such activity, the account remains attractive mainly thanks to zero basic fees and a free card, while the headline bonus amount should be treated with some reserve, since making full use of it in practice requires specific currency activity, not just opening the account.
